QUINCY -- Michelle Di-Anne Mangold Taber, 46, of Quincy, went to be with the Lord at 4:06 p.m. Friday (July 31, 2015) at her home.

Michelle was born July 29, 1969, in Quincy, a daughter of Michael Mangold and Connie Blincoe Mangold Schmits. She married Chad Taber on Nov. 25, 2005, in Quincy. He survives.

Michelle loved spending time with her family and working in her flower garden. Her family always enjoyed the meals she prepared. Michelle liked candy, and her grandchildren always knew they would get candy at grandma's house.

Chad and Michelle's grandparents, Darrell and Dorothy Gunnell and Ray and Ruth Blincoe, lived together in an apartment in Newton, Iowa, during the Great Depression, and worked at Maytag.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Zachary (Barbara) Fuhrman of Quincy; a daughter, Ashley Taber of Quincy; four grandchildren, Hailea, Leah, Zachary II and Amera Fuhrman; her mother, Connie Blincoe Mangold Schmits of Quincy; a brother, William Schmits of Quincy; two sisters, Tamila (Steve) Hamilton and Tonia (Scot) McKiernan, both of Quincy; her mother-in-law, Linda Taber; two brothers-in-law, Gary and Tracy Taber; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father; her grandfather, Elmer Mangold; and her grandmother, Ruth Blincoe.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Pastor Lindy Sloan officiating. Graveside service and inurnment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy.

VISITATION: 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
