James Michael Feehan, 44, from Mocksville, died Friday morning, July 17, 2015, at the HOCK Family Pavilion at Duke Home Care & Hospice in Durham, N.C. 1870-2015

James was born July 24, 1970, in Newton, to the late Richard Lee and Gennie Marie Cupp Feehan. He was a graduate of Iowa State University and a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He loved traveling and loved his dogs.

Survivors include his wife Erin Amira Feehan of the home; one son, Calder James Feehan of the home; one sister, Mary Feehan of Newton; his uncle and aunt, Charles and Sheryl Cupp of Des Moines; his aunt, Lorrie Symmonds of Newton, and a number of other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 22 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church by the Rev. John Shields. The family will receive visitors at noon in the chapel with an hour reception following the service in the Colhoun room.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Winston-Salem, 3175 Maplewood Ave., Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103.
