Genevieve Harford

Funeral services for Genevieve Harford, 80, a resident of Newton since February, 1990, were held Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Carsons Funeral Home in Maquoketa.

Burial was in Monticello Cemetery.

Mrs. Harford died Saturday at Nelson Manor in Newton.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Of Maquoketa and Carlton of Newton; nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Mrs. Harford, a longtime resident of Maquoketa, was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Garden Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and had been mother advisor of Rainbow Girls for more than 20 years. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Fri 18 Jan 1001.
