John Robert Beem

IRA - John Robert Beem, 15-day-old child of Howard Joseph and Karla Kay Perry Beem, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 16, at the Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines.

The child ws born prematurely Jan. 1 at the Iowa methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturdy, Jan. 19, at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.

The Rev. Eldon Nolte, pastor of the United Church of Ira, will conduct services. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Baxter.

Memorial contributions to a fund in the child's name may be left at the funeral home.

Also surviving are a twin brother, Joseph Logan Beem; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Perry of Rt. 5, Newton, Mr. and Mrs. John beem of Bemidji, Minn., and Mrs. Marilyn Kim of Alamargordo, N.M.; and his great-grandparents, Mrs. Arnetta Luther of Newton, Mrs. Marjorie Taylor of Ira and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Beem of Mingo. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Jan 1985
