MITCHELLVILLE – Funeral services for Leola Faye Bishop Jennings, 91, a longtime resident of the Mitchellville area, were held today, April 15, at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.

The Rev. Ted Hatten, pastor of the Mitchellville United Methodist Church, conducted services.

Burial was in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.

Memorials to the Mitchellville Rescue Unit may be left at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jennings died Friday at the Mitchell Village Care Center in Mitchellville.

Survivors are a son, Carroll of Mitchellville; a daughter, Virginia (Mrs. Robert) Hautter of Anderson, S. C.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur, a sister and three brothers.

The daughter of Elias and Hester May Parmenter Bishop, she was born Aug. 2, 1899 in Adelphi.
