Carolyn Jane Enlow, 70, formerly of Newton, died Friday, June 19, 2015, at home in Dallas Center. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and no formal services will be held at this time.

Carolyn was born Dec. 24, 1944, in Kansas City, Mo., to parents Francis and Kathleen Enlow. She worked at Maytag in Newton, and retired in 2003, after 30 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and especially loved her Scottie dogs and pugs.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Thomas Reynolds of Dallas Center, Ruth Reynolds of Des Moines, and Robert Reynolds of Newton; grandchildren, Justin Britt of Des Moines, and Christina Britt of Colfax; great-grandson, Dallas Britt of Des Moines; brother, Chuck Enlow of Dallas Center; sister, Mary Cowman; and life-long friends Sally and Dale Beukema of Bondurant.
