A Celebration of David's life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2015, at the Salvation Army in Newton.

David Fink, the son of Wendell J. and Mary Jane (Dunkin) Fink, was born April 3, 1956. He graduated from Newton High School. David had served in the U.S. Army for 16 years. He later worked as a janitor. David enjoyed watching tv and movies, reading, playing video games, and talking with his family and friends.

Those left to honor David’s memory include his wife, Patty Godfrey of Newton; son, Eric Fink of Newton; grandson, Alexander Ripley-Fink of Arizona; his siblings: Robin (Roy) Heck, Wanda Mills, Dianne (Jack) Mills, Kathleen Bechel, and Kenneth Fink; his sister-in-law, Donna Fink; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angela Fink; and brother, Terry Fink. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 12 June 2015.
