MORNING E. DELK
DIES MONDAY;
RITES THURSDAY

Mrs. Sterling (Morning E.) Delk, 69, of 213 W. 9th St. N., a resident of Newton since 1960, died Monday morning at the Skiff Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today.

Survivors are her husband; six sons, Homer Simpson of Colfax, Ralph Simpson of Kellogg and Herstel Simpson, Robert Delk, Clyde Delk and Leroy Delk, all of Newton; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Lela) Young of Newton, Mrs. Charles (Rose) Anderson of Somonauk, Ill., and Mrs. Raymond (Nancy) Fuller of Baxter; 20 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband, Thomas Simpson, in 1931.

She was born Dec. 7, 1904 at New River, Tenn.

She was married Aug. 3, 1935 in New Sharon.
