SELMA, Calif. – Graveside rites for Irene M. Grote, 92, of Selma, Calif., formerly of 1315 W 4th St. S., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thurs, March 7, at the Newton Union Cemetery.

The Rev. H. Eugene Cedarholm, pastor of the Newton First Lutheran Church, will conduct services.

Memorials to Bethel Lutheran Home at 2280 Dockery, Selma, Calif. 93662-3998 will be accepted.

Friends may call at Reese Funeral Home in Newton after 1 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors are a son, George, of Fresno, Calif.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bert Snook of Newton.

She was married to Harry Grote June 2, 1920 in Newton.
