PRAIRIE CITY – Funeral services for Ardis L. Remburg Beaver Conley, 82, of Prairie City, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.

Burial will be in the Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday. Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society will be accepted.

Survivors are a daughter, Sandra (Mrs. Larry) Clippinger of Altoona; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Albert Beaver in 1963, her second husband, Beryl Conley, in 1990 and a son, Larry.

Mrs. Conley, who had been employed as a sewing teacher at the Mitchellville Training School for 17 years prior to her retirement, had taught at a number of Iowa schools and in Chicago, Ill.

The daughter of oll Levi and Ann Palmer Remburg, she was born Aug. 9, 1908 in Bloomington, Ill., and was graduated from Prairie City High School and received a two-year degree from Drake University in Des Moines.

She was married to Albert Richard Beaver Sept. 30, 1930 and to Beryle Conley June 8, 1986 in Altoona. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Fri 8 Feb 1991.
