Daughter Dies in Illinois

Mrs. Emma Ferris, 42, daughter of Mrs. Lizzie Hanson, died after a two weeks illness Friday while visiting relatives of her husband in Illinois.

Funeral services were held at 19:30 Monday morning at the Lilly Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Besides her husband and mother, she leaves two sons and one daughter.

She was born and grew to young womanhood in Colfax where her friends will regret to hear of her untimely passing. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 22 Oct 1936.
