Wm. Wade Jr. Died Monday At Newton

William John Wade Jr., 37, a resident of Colfax most of his lifetime, died Monday, Nov. 14th at the Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton. He had been in failing health for some time and had entered the hospital early Monday morning.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. William Guy Wade Sr., he was born July 8, 1929 at Colfax and attended Colfax schools.

He was married to Nancy Arlene Revell, Oct. 23, 1955 at Colfax.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy; a daughter, Karen Marie, 6, and two sons, William John Jr., 3, and Michael Scott, 18 months; his parents Mr. and Mrs. William Guy wade Sr. of Colfax; three sisters, Mrs. Jean (Mary Ann) Ray, Mrs. Harold (Marcella) Warner and Mrs. James (Barbara) Clement, all of Colfax; and a grandmother, Mr. Mary Wilcox of Eagle Grove.

Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Rev. Charles Wilder, pastor of the church, will conduct the services.

Miss Mable Kaldenberg will be the soloist and Miss Eleanor Howell the organist.

The bearers are John Osborn, Pat Highley, Richard Swanson; Duane Schroder, Marvin Howell and Dick Hendee. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 17 Nov 1966.
