Mrs. Ethel Franklin died at her home in Burlingame, Calif., August 24, 1931, after a long illness, age 39 years. The funeral was held in that city Thursday.

Mrs. Franklin leaves her husband, one daughter, Claire Dodd of movie fame, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cool, who have been with her for months, and five sisters, Mrs. Agnes Workman of Ferguson, Mrs. Wm. Allen and Mrs. Ed Goodwin, both of Baxter, Mrs. Winifred Curyea of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Alfonse Gallagher of Missoula, Mont.
