Jeanette Hardon Died in California

Memorial services in memory of Jeanette Hardon were held from the Harrison Funeral Home in Tama Monday, Feb. 28, 1983. The Rev. Ralph Sarver, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Tama was in charge.

Prior services were held Tuesday, Feb. 22, in Napa, California. Burial was in Tulocay Cemetery in Napa.

She is survived by three children, Sharon Strong, Napa, Gary Hood, San Diego, Cal., and Dennis Hood, Anchorage, Alaska. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, her step-mother, Mrs. Cleo Thedens, Knoxville, a step-sister and a step-brother.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred R. Thedens in February, 1968, her husband, Henry Hardon of Tama in 1964.

Relatives attending the memorial services were Cleo Thedens, Maurine, Sue Lynn and Lawrence Kennedy, Knoxville, Marilyn Butler, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Donald Donaldson, Fern Butler and Deloris Berry, Baxter, and other relatives and friends from the Tama and Toledo areas. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 3 Mar 1983.
