Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bell are the parents of a baby boy, born Friday, December 19, 1930. This makes them a family of a girl and a boy.

The proud father is a well known farmer living east of Colfax. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bell Sr. are also rejoicing over the arrival of this new grandson. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 25 Dec 1930.

Infant Babe Dies

The month old babe of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bell passed away Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock, death being caused from pneumonia. The little fellow who was born December 19th, 1930, had been named Charles Arthur.

Besides the bereaved parents, one sister Margaret Marie, three years of age survives.

Little Margaret was just recovering from a siege of pneumonia when the baby took the malady, and was unable to stand the strain on his system.
