Resident’s Brother Died

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Needham have returned home after attending the funeral services on Wednesday, May 6, for her brother at Gibson Funeral Home, Port Byron, Ill. Burial was in Cordova Cemetery.

Lawrence “Bunch” Henyan, 67, of Cordova, Ill., died Sunday, May 3, 1987, at Lutheran Hospital, Moline.

Mr. Henyan was born June 3, 1919, in Cordova.

He married Martha Landuit in 1941 in East Moline. He married Meg Jacobs in 1963. She died in 1975.

Survivors include daughters, Diane Hasbrouck, LaVerne, Calif., Marcia Lodico, Hampton, Ill., and Bonnie Reynolds, Cordova; a son, Larry, East Moline; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 12 step-grandchildren; sisters, Lillian Ziegler and Florence Macik, both of Port Byron, Mary Nelson, Silvis, Ill., and Ida Mae Needham of Baxter; and brothers George, Franklin Park, Ill., Walter, Port Byron, and Robert of Cordova. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 14 May 1987.
