Wilma Foster Services Held

Funeral services for Mrs. Paul (Wilma I.) Foster, 62, of Grinnell, formerly of Newton and Colfax, were held today at the Smith East Funeral Home in Grinnell.

The Rev. Philip Ramstad conducted services. Burial was in the Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.

Survivors are a son, Roger Lindell of Millsport, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Irene) Brant of Grinnell, Mrs. Samuel (Barbara) Kizer of Carson, Calif., Mrs. Joe (Mary Kaye) Vaughn of cedar Falls and Mrs. (Marilyn) Faulkers of Doughtery; and three step-children, Mrs. Linda Watts of Marshalltown and Mrs. Robert (Rosemary) Owens and David Paul Foster, both of Colfax.

Also surviving are 18 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Virgil Doud of Grinnell; and three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Olson of Grinnell and Mrs. Gerold (Irene) Deppe and Mrs. Gerold (Doris) Flanagan, both of Kellogg.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur Elliott, and second Husband, Paul Foster.

Mrs. Foster was a former Maytag employee.

The daughter of Pete and Hazel Doud, she was born May 7, 1916 at Grinnell and attended rural Grinnell and Newburg schools.

She was married to Wilbur Elliott in 1934 at Newton and Paul Foster in 1968 in Omaha, Neb. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa 3 Aug 1978.
