Death Calls Ernest Flanders

Ernest Flanders passed away at the home of his mother, Mrs. Emma LaRue, south of Colfax, Friday after an illness of a few weeks of stomach and sinus trouble.

Mr. Flanders was born in Colfax March 26, 1895 and has been a resident of the community all his life. He attended the Colfax schools and has since spent most of his time on the farm. Mr. Flanders was never married and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Emma LaRue.

Funeral services were conducted from the Immaculate Conception Church, Monday morning, at 9:00 o’clock with Rev. F. W. Lawler in charge of the service. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 15 Jan 1931.
