In Memory of John James Gould

John James Gould, son of John and Clarice Barker Gould was born in Des Moines on April 17, 1929 and entered into rest January 20, 1982 at the Skiff Hospital in Newton at the age of 52 years.

On February 2, 1951 he was united in marriage to Shirley Shoafstall at West Des Moines. Mr. Gould was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and had been employed by Iowa Power.

Surviving are his wife Shirley, daughter Susan, son and wife Jim and Janet of Mitchellville, three grandchildren: Corey, Angela and Jamie.

Also surviving are two brothers: Ronald Gould of West Des Moines and George Barker of Colfax, and a sister Mrs. Lillian Bucklin of De Moines. Preceding him in death were his parents.

Interment McKeever Cemetery, Colfax, Iowa.
