Friends received word Monday of the death of a former neighbor, Mr. Frank Bean, who a few years ago lived near Center school house, but has lived near Reasnor for a number of years. He with his family attended the homecoming at Center, about four weeks ago.

He passed away Saturday and services were held at Reasnor, Tuesday afternoon. He leaves three children and several grand children to mourn his passing. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 27 Nov 1930.
