Barbara J. Anderson of Lynnville and formerly of Marshalltown died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000 at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the Community Life Church in Barnes City with the rev. Jim sears officiating. Burial was held at Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Barnes City Community Life Church Building Fund.

The daughter of Willis and Mary Daughtery Glore, she was born April 14, 1953, in Marshalltown. She was raised in Marshalltown and was a 1972 graduate of Marshalltown High School. She was married to Tom A. Anderson Dec. 16, 1977, in Marshalltown, where the couple made their home prior to moving to Tulsa, Okla. in 1985. She moved to Lynnville in 1994. She was employed with Sears while living in Marshalltown and Tulsa and most recently with Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company. She was an active member of the Barnes City Community Life Church, the Praise and Worship Band of her church, and the GRMC Singers.

Survivors include her husband, Tom of Lynnville, her mother, Mary Glore; two daughters, Melia and Rachel Anderson of Lynnville; and one sister, Kathy Glore of Marshalltown. Her father preceded her in death. ~ The Diamond Trail News, Sully, Iowa 2 Feb 2000.
