Former Ira Resident Dies

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Ira M. E. Church for Mrs. Nellie Castor who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Gabers in Lincoln, Iowa

Mrs. Castor who was 81 years of age is survived by four daughters and three sons, namely Mrs. Denver Cross Sr. of Baxter, Mrs. Stella Houck of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Mrs. Nellie Gabers of Lincoln, Iowa, Miss Iva Castor of Chicago, Gilman Castor of Ira, Seward Jr. and Clifford.

She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives in the Ira vicinity. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 13 May 1937
