Josie Baker Stines Died

Friends in this vicinity were grieved Saturday morning when the news came of the death of Josie Baker Stines. Her health had been poorly for some time but she seems to be much better the past few months.

Josie was born on the old place 1 mi. S. E. of Ira. Everyone was her friend. She was so kindhearted and always willing to lend a helping hand and she will be greatly missed by her loved ones with whom she was especially endeared. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa 9 Nov 1922.
