PRAIRIE CITY - Betty Louise Roberts, 68, of Prairie City, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Prairie City United Methodist Church with the Rev. Al Kinrade officiating. Burial will be a Waveland Cemetery.

Visitation will be held after noon today at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City where family will be present from 6 to 8 pm. tonight.

Memorials to the National Parkinson's Disease foundation will be accepted.

The daughter of Arthur Herbert and Alxina Martha Exter Robinson, she was born April 4, 1929, in Rhodes. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1947.

She married Harold Roberts Nov. 23, 1947, in Colfax.

A lifelong resident of Prairie City, she worked as a homemaker. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Prairie City United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Annette of Prairie City; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Rick Berkey of Newton; five grandchildren; three sisters, Marjorie Marshall and Dorothy McEacheren, both of Wichita, Kan. and Doris Chandler of Waterloo; and a brother, Gerold Robinson of Melbourne.
