Death Claimed F.W. Lippincott Wednesday

Frank Lippincott, 87, died Wednesday, July 11, in the Skiff Hospital at Newton after a long illness.

Mr. Lippincott was born February 6, 1864 in Sublit, IL, the son of Josiah W. and Elizabeth Hoover Lippincott. He came to Colfax twenty three years ago where he was employed as a telegrapher. He retired 17 years ago. Mr. Lippincott was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star.

He is survived by a son Crawford, of this city.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3:00 from the Bumgardner Chapel, with burial in the Colfax Cemetary. Rev. Floyd L. Shepard, paster of the Methodist Church, will be in charge.
