Funeral Services for Mrs. S.T. Kline

Funeral Services for Mrs. S.T. Kline, who passed away in Fresno, Cal., were held Monday afternoon.

Dora Emily Starkweather, daughter of Alice and Desmond Starkweather, was born on the 9th day of July, 1874 at Colfax, Iowa. On March 13th, 1889 she was married to S.T. Kline. She died December 25, 1923, in Wheeler Sanitarium in Fresno, CA.

Mr. and Mrs. Kline were blessed with four children: Eva, who died in infancy; Roy, who is now living in Fresno, California and was unable to be present at the funeral; Opal Rodgers of Colfax and Herbert, also of Colfax.

She is survived by her three children, her mother, her husband, two sisters, Clara Broughton of Salida, Colorado and Blanche Ware of Valley Junction, Iowa and two grandchildren, Claudia and Dora Rodgers.

All of God's ways are not know to us but out of His great mercy He was shown us the way of life. Let us pray for strength to do His will and to walk in the path that He was made clear that we might at last rest in the comforting of His promises.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Christian Church with pastor Rev. Vere L. Rogers officiating.

Owing to the heavy storm on Monday, burial was postponed until Wednesday afternoon at the Kintz Cemetary about 14 miles north of here.
