Lila Rae Neideigh, age 56 of Runnells, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at her home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Prairie City Church of the Brethren. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. Memorials may be directed to the Mayo Clinic for lung cancer research. The daughter of John William and Helen Joyce (Plate) Tibboel, Lila was born on August 4, 1958, in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Prairie City High School in 1976. On January 22, 1977, she was united in marriage to Glenn Dale Neideigh at the Prairie City Christian Reformed Church. Lila worked for 38 years as an IT Specialist for the State of Iowa. Lila enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her family, most of all "The Apple of Her Eye", her daughter Erica Rae.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Glenn; a daughter, Erica; her mother, Helen of Prairie City; her siblings, Dennis (Mary) Tibboel of Knoxville, Karen (Jim) Umble of Harvey, twin sister, Lola K. (Al) Benes of Knoxville, and Kenneth (Karla) Tibboel of Big Lake, Minnesota; in laws, Mary Ellen Cole of Taneyville, Missouri, and Ben (Donna) Neideigh of Winterset, Iowa. Also surviving are six nieces, three nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her father, John Tibboel, a daughter at birth, Taylor Renee Neideigh, a great niece and in-laws, Glenn E. and Velma Neideigh, and Bill Cole. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 22 Feb 2015.
