C. Anderson, 26, Dies at Grinnell
Pneumonia Claims Kellogg Man After 4 Day Illness
KELLOGG – Charles Anderson, 26, Midwest factory employe and former local resident died at the Community hospital at Grinnell last night following a five day illness of flu and pneumonia. Suffering with a severe cold, his condition became worse Thursday and he was admitted to the hospital Sunday morning.
Funeral services will be held at the Kellogg Methodist Episcopal church Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock with the Rev. R. T. White in charge. Interment will be at Stuart, Ia.
Charles Anderson was born in Kellogg Dec. 3, 1911 and made his home here until a year ago when he and his family moved to Grinnell. He was united in marriage to Eva Percy at Monroe, Dec. 3, 1933 and to this union was born one daughter.
Surviving relatives are his widow and their three-year-old daughter, Beverly, his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Schultz and foster sister, Mrs. Norval Palmer living east of Kellogg.
