Chas. Neff Killed By Fall
Charles Neff, age 45, residing one and a half miles west of Monroe is dead as a result of a fall from a haymow on a cement floor about 11 o’clock Monday morning. He died at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
Mr. Neff is regarded as one of the prominent farmers in the vicinity of Monroe and had lived all of his life in that community. Two years ago he was married to Miss Anna Tidball and since that time they have resided on the farm west of Monroe. No funeral announcements have been made as yet, but it is thought now it will be Friday.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Francis Neff of Monroe; his wife, three sisters, Mrs. Harry Worth of Monroe, and Mary and Belle Neff both of Washington, D.C., two brothers, Glenn, now in France and Bert, who resides some place in Montana.
His death comes as a great shock to his host of friends and the members of the family have the tender sympathy of the entire community.
