James H. Gerhart Dies
Son of Former Jasper Co. Resident

James "Jim" Henry Gerhart, 59, of Tucson, Arizona died in St. Joseph's Hospital there Wednesday night (November 8, 2000). Mr. Gerhart was born on January 10, 1941, in Iowa City, Iowa, and raised in Valeria. He was a 1959 graduate of Mingo High School. He resided in the Des Moines and Ankeny areas before moving to Colorado with his family many years ago, and then to Arizona in 1986.

Left to mourn his death are his mother, Beulah Gerhart, of Indianola (formerly of Mingo); two daughters, Dee (Mrs. Taw) Tamlin, of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, and Cassie (Mrs. Mike) Linder, of Arvada, Colorado; one son, Jamie Gerhart, of Pueblo, Colorado; two brothers, Charles Gerhart, of New Virginia, and Ken Gerhart, of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Helen Dodd, of Panora, and Delores (Mrs. Ronnie) Robinett, of Mitchellville; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff Gerhart.
