"Died at the residence of his son, Monroe in Clear Creek Township, June 20, 1892, Mr. Henry Streeter, age 83 years, seven months and five days.

He was born in Green County, New York, Nov. 15, 1808.

In 1832 he was married to Miss Lydia Faulkner of Delaware Co., New York where they resided a few years, going from there to Lucerne County, Penn. and then in 1849 to Delaware Co. Ohio.

In 1857 they came to Iowa settling near Clyde, where they have since resided. His wife died a few years ago, since which time he has lived with his children. There was born to the worthy couple 11 children, six of them sons. Nine of those are still living and all but one was with him in his last sickness."
