WILMA L MCMASTER, 83, of Newton died of a heart ailment Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reese Chapel, with burial at Silent City cemetery in Monroe.
Mrs. McMaster was born in Prairie City and had lived in Newton since 1940. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; four daughters, Shirley Fox, Sharon Smith and Judith Hoyt, all of Newton, and Cynthia Rollins of Austin, TX.; a brother, Lyle Tool of Monroe; two sisters, Wanda Tool and Geraldine Tool, both of Newton; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Odd Fellow Home in Mason City or the Newton Christmas Lighting Fund.
