Rites Held Today For Parsons Baby

Funeral services for Sandra Catherine Parsons, seven-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Parsons Jr., Route 2, Newton, were held this morning at Morgan Funeral Home. The little girl, died Saturday morning at Skiff Memorial hospital after a brief illness.

Rev. Ralph Eckard, pastor of First Lutheran church, officiated and burial was in Memorial Gardens cemetery. Music was by Dick McKibben, soloist, and Mrs. Lois Stanton, organist.
Survivors are the parents, her paternal grandfather, Floyd O. Parsons of Newton, and her maternal grandfather, Edward Mettler of Webster City.
