Michael F. Kuntz Dies at Age 81, Rites Tomorrow
LYNNVILLE (Special) – Michael Francis Kuntz, 81, resident of the Lynnville area for approximately 15 years, died yesterday afternoon of the infirmities of old age.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Toland Funeral Home in Newton with Rev. Benson B. Compton, pastor of the Assembly God church, in charge. Burial will be at Union Mills, Ia.
Mr. Kuntz was born Feb. 24, 1871, in Kansas to Joseph and Sarah Kuntz. He was one of 13 children and is survived by one brother, Ed M. Kuntz of Newton. His wife preceded him in death. For many years Mr. Kuntz was a farmer and he also operated a gas and oil tank wagon truck.
