MONROE, IA. – Linda Beth Young, three-weeks-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Young of Monroe, died Monday afternoon at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines. The infant had been suffering with a cold and when complications developed, she was entered at the hospital Saturday morning.
She was born Oct. 30 at Skiff Memorial hospital in Newton.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Dwight, aged 6.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 o’clock at the Crumpacker Funeral home by Rev. J. M. Carlson of the Baptist church. Interment will be in the Monroe cemetery.
