Former Colfax Resident Dies
COLFAX – David G. Dales, 82, former resident of Newton and Colfax, died Wednesday at 4 p.m. at his home in Holland, Ia. Funeral services for the retired farmer will be conducted Saturday at Holland.
Mr. Dales, a Spanish American War veteran was born Oct. 20, 1856, in Cambridge, O. He was a brother of the late William Dales of Colfax. His wife died about a month ago.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Earl and Logan and Mrs. Florea Juhel all of Holland, Ia., a brother, John of Oskaloosa and three sisters, Mrs. John Veach of Colfax, Mrs. W. H. Wilsong of Botna and Mrs. Belle Moore of Manning.
