Yolande Karol Miles Liming July 24, 1932 - October 16, 2014 Yolande was born on July 24, 1932, just ahead of her twin sister, Marlys Jayne. They were born in Newton, IA to Gwendolyn Edith (Crosby) Harbour.

They spent the first years of their lives living with their maternal grandparents, Raymond Lewis Crosby and Margaret Mae (Richardson) Crosby. Eventually, Gwen met and married Willis Owen Miles. They had three more children, Janice Verlee (Hickey), Loanna Jeanene (Rockstroh) and Robert Owen Miles.

Both Marlys and Janice preceded her in death.

On February 18, 1951, Yolande married Leland Eugene Liming and they were married until Gene's death in 2004. On October 16, 1952, she gave birth to her first daughter, Rebecca Lynn Liming and on July 5, 1955, her second daughter, Carol Ann Liming.

Yolande was always active in her church, Bellaire United Methodist Church, until it closed in 2007, when she moved her membership and her activity to Union Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also an avid bridge player and belonged to several bridge clubs over the years. She was an excellent seamstress, knitter, crocheter, counted cross-stitch and many other crafts. She was a Sunday School teacher, VBS and Methodist volunteer and always a member of the chancel choir.

Yolande was an aunt to 30 nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Loanna; brother, Robert and two daughters, Rebecca (Becky) and Carol.

The celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, October 18 in Flanner and Buchanan - Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m., followed by the service at 2 p.m. Interment will be in a crypt at Washington Park North. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the UMW of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
