WITHIE, Wis. - Funeral services for John William Knittle, 54, of Withie, Wis., win be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton. The Rev. E. William Kaska, pastor of the church, will conduct services.

Burial win be in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. A wake service win be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe.

Among survivors are a son Jason; a daughter, Jona; his mother, Dorothy Knittle of Monroe; a brother, Robert C. Knittle of Des Moines; and a sister, Anna Mae (Mrs. Wayne) Shannon of Monroe.

Mr. Knittle, who died Saturday, February 13, 1988, at an Eau Claire, Wis. hospital, had been an accountant in Minneapolis, Minn., and Chicago for many years. He was a native of Waukon.
