Marguerite F. Hotchkin, 81, of Heritage Manor, died Sunday, March 16, 1986 at Heritage.
The funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. E. William Kaska will officiate with burial at the Newton Union Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m., Tuesday, at the Reese Funeral Home. A Christian wake service is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Reese Chape1.
Survivors include a sister, Mabel (Mrs. J.) Bodine Hall of Madison, Wis., six nieces and nephews, Paula (Mrs. James) Johannes of Libertyville, Ill., Mrs. Katherine Gratke of Madison, Wis., Mary Ellen (Mrs. Kendall) Post of Madison, Wis., Anmarie Hall of Naperville, Ill., Frank E. Hall of Alexandria, Va., and L. Philip Parks of Rochester, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mrs. Marcella Parks.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Society.
She was a longtime employee of The Maytag Company.
The daughter of Philip and Mary Ellen Flanagan Hotchkin, she was born Dec. 29, 1904, in Newton. She was educated at the Newton Schools. She was a lifelong resident of Newton. ~ The Newton (Iowa) Daily News, March 17, 1986.
