Hollys “Pat” Little Harrison, 90, of Newton died on Sunday, April 20, 2014, at the Newton Health Care Center in Newton.

A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton. The family will greet friends from noon to 1:20 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton.

Memorials to Skiff Hospice may be left at the funeral home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home; please add Attn: Harrison Family on the envelope.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond of Newton; children, Charlis Douglas of Mabank, Texas, Patricia (Bill) Colwell of Knoxville, Donald Jr. (Carolyn) Little of Newton, David Little (Jo Johnson) of Newton and Mary (Jack) Penny of Newton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson, and her sisters, Joretta Lee of Dallas, Texas, and Claudean (Wendell) Keeton of Albia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Donald Little in 1955; son-in-law, Jim Douglas, daughter-in-law, Sally Little and two great-grandchildren. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News.

Those left to honor Pat’s memory are her husband, Raymond of Newton; children, Charlis Douglas of Mabank, Texas, Patricia (Bill) Colwell of Knoxville, Donald, Jr. (Carolyn) Little of Newton, David Little (Jo Johnson) of Newton and Mary (Jack) Penny of Newton; her eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her great-great-grandson; and sisters, Joretta Lee of Dallas, Texas and Claudean (Wendell) Keeton of Albia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Donald Little in 1955; son-in-law, Jim Douglas, daughter-in-law, Sally Little and two great-grandchildren.

Pat was a graduate of Albia High School in Albia, Iowa with the Class of 1941. Pat worked 18 years for the Maytag Company as a production worker, retiring in 1983. She had also worked for many restaurants.

Pat was a member of the Jasper County Bowling Association and the UAW Local 997 Retirees Union.

Pat enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed doing genealogy and traveling.
