Mary E. Belcher, 74, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born September 7, 1939 in Iowa City, Iowa to Clyde and Lilly Patterson. She enjoyed nothing more than spending quality time with her family.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Ronald; son, Marty; daughter, Deb Baumeister; grandchildren: Chris (Amanda) and Josh Belcher, Amy and Angie Baumeister, Jake and Jamie Belcher, Nathan Cort, and Megan Belcher; great-grandchildren: Katelynne and Madison Belcher, Jordan Swacker, Christopher and Alex Belcher, Joshie McCrory, Lucas Belcher, Hannah and Olivia Dank.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014, also at the funeral home, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
