Maytag Retiree Robert J. Davies Died on May 14
Robert J. Davies of Marshalltown, a Maytag Company retiree, died of a respiratory ailment May 14 at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. He was 79.

Joining the company in 1953, Davies began continuous service in 1958. He worked in porcelain, the machine shop, Plant 1 assembly, paint, tool manufacturing and sheet metal, before retiring in 1976 with 21.2 years of service.
