Ruth I. (Williams) Gregg, 84, of Gilbert, AZ went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2011. No public services are scheduled and the family requests any donations to the American Parkinsons disease Association in Phoenix, AZ.

“Ruthie” was born on May 21, 1927 in Ashland, WI to the late Rev. Staley & Olive Williams. She was a 1945 graduate of Colfax High School and was married the same year to the late Richard “Dick” Gregg, also of Colfax. After living in Colfax and Des Moines, the family relocated to Phoenix, AZ where Ruth retired from the plant after 30 years of service. She enjoyed being with her 4 children and getting everyone together for family dinners.

Ruth is survived by her sister Rachel (Lewis) Severance of Kasson, MN; her children, Dolores “Dee” Gregg Salado of Gilbert, AZ Daniel (Judy) Gregg of Ankeny, Donald (Kay) Gregg of Avondale, AZ and Debra Greg of Gilbert, AZ; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Des Moines Register or The Newton (IA) Daily News, Thurs 4 Aug 2011
