Obituary

Norma G. Cheville, 65, of Davenport passed away Friday, February 7, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Tuesday, February 11 at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Mrs. Cheville was born September 1, 1948 in Newton, Iowa, a daughter of Lawrence and Opal Meador. On June 19, 1981 she married James Cheville in Rock Island, Illinois. She retired from Trinity and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include her husband, Jim; children Randy (Jennifer) Meador, Tonya (Jason) Strong and Terri Cheville; eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter; and siblings Jerry, Richard, Sylvia, Roberta ("Bert"), Dennis and Susan. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Eva and Joan. ~ The Des Moines Register Legacy, Des Moines, Iowa.
