Death Claims A. D. "Ab" Stock

A. D. "Ab" Stock, 72 of Mingo, dies early Sunday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. P. Dodd from a heart attack. Mr. Stock had gone to Marshalltown for a visit with his daughter and seemed to be feeling his usual health, and when Mrs. Dodd called him Sunday morning, there was no response and investigation found that he had passed away during the night.

Besides his daughter in Marshalltown, he is survived by a daughter in California. His wife died about four years ago and a son John died in California about 2 years ago.

Mr. Stock was a life long resident of Mingo and community and well known throughout western Jasper county.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Mingo with interment in the Ashton Chapel Cemetery
