Wilemma Penney Dies Early today; Rites Wednesday
Mrs. Dallas (Wilemma) Penney, 92, a resident of Newton since 1968, died this morning at the Skiff Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home.
The Rev. Frederick Kramer, rector of the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will be accepted.
Survivors are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sue K. Penney of Newton; a grandson, Harold Penney of Newton; a granddaughter, Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Stillwell of Newton and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dallas, and a son, Harold Sr.
Mrs. Penney was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
The daughter of Lafayette and Mary Wade, she was born May 31, 1886 near Carlisle.
