Weiger Overdyk Dies Wednesday; Rites Saturday
RUNNELLS – Weiger Peter Overdyk, 86, of Runnells, died Wednesday at Clear View Manor in Prairie City.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Harold Cashatte of Des Moines will conduct services. Burial will be in the Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
Friends may call at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City until noon Saturday.
Survivors are his wife, Nellie, and several nieces and nephews.
The son of Peter and Petji Overdyk, he was born July 7, 1891 in The Netherlands.
He was married to Nellie Colyn Mar. 6, 1937 at Prairie City.
