Arnold Kunze Dies Sunday; Services Today
COLFAX – Funeral services for Arnold W. Kunze, 78, of Rt. 1, Mitchellville, a longtime resident of Colfax area and a member of the board of directors of the First National Bank in Colfax, were held today at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Robert Jones, pastor of the Christian Church in Colfax, conducted services. Burial was in the Colfax Cemetery.
He died Sunday at his home.
Survivors are his wife, Gertrude; a son, Jerry of Maxwell; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and his parents.
Mr. Kunze was a member of the Colfax Christian Church, the Colfax Riverside Masonic Lodge and the Order of Eastern Star.
The son of Herman and Caroline Wauker Kunze, he was born Aug. 15, 1899 at Davenport.
He was married to Gertrude Young Aug. 6, 1925 at Colfax.
