Thedora Shaver, 87, of Newton died on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at Heritage Manor Care Center.

Services are pending at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News.

Those left to honor Teddy's memory are her son, Terry Shaver (Ilene Lee) of Newton; ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Charlene Shunk; and son, Larry L. Shaver in 2012; special friend, Ralph Shaver; and granddaughter, Terri Lynn Rogers in 2012.

Teddy graduated from Laurel High School in Laurel, Iowa

Teddy was a homemaker; she also worked in housekeeping at the Jasper County Home. She later worked for Rock Communications.

Teddy was a member of the Women of the Moose No. 647. She enjoyed being with her family. She loved college and pro football; she also enjoyed crocheting, and doing ceramics
