Candy Sue Stewart, 50, of Newton died on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at her home.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. Memorials in Candy’s name may be left at the funeral home.
Candy, the daughter of Earl and Sharon (Shediwy) Page, was born on July 25, 1962, in El Paso, Texas. The family made their home in Newton where Candy graduated from high school in 1980. She was a homemaker and member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Candy enjoyed camping, fishing, mushroom hunting and her pets.
Candy is survived by her husband, Mark Stewart of Newton; son, Jeffrey Stewart of Newton; daughter, Danielle Stewart of Ankeny; her parents, Earl and Sharon Page of Newton; two brothers, William Page of Chula Vista, Calif., and Chad Page of Newton; her mother-in-law, Ruth Stewart of Newton; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Margaret (Richard) Mortensen of Grinnell, Chris (Patti) Stewart of Knoxville, Tim Stewart of Allentown, Pa., and Katy Stewart of Newton; and her many nieces and nephews.
